The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement has urged Nigerians to re-elect President Bola Tinubu in 2027 to consolidate ongoing reforms.
The founder of the group, Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, said Mr Tinubu administration’s reforms are yielding results and will require more time for consolidation.
Mr Ekpemupolo disclosed this on Friday in Damaturu, Yobe State, during the unveiling of campaign vehicles donated to the state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) by the movement for grassroots mobilisation.
Mr Ekpemupolo, represented by the Managing Director of Tantita Security Services, Kester Pondi, said the president’s policies have improved revenue to states.
“President Bola Tinubu’s policies have been wonderful. They have helped our governors to have more money for projects. They have put more money in the states than ever before.

“Today, your state governors have money to execute projects; your governors don’t owe salaries and pensions, and that is because of the economic reforms of President Bola Tinubu, which are yielding results.”
He likened reforms to road rehabilitation, saying it comes with initial difficulties but benefits everyone upon completion.
According to him, the impact of the reforms is already evident in local government autonomy and increased allocations to states.
“We are telling you that if you want these reforms, which have made local government autonomy and steady salary payment possible to be consolidated, you must vote for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027. Reelect the president for continuous reforms that will stand the test of time,” he said.
Earlier, National Coordinator of the Movement, Sunday Asuku, while thanking the people of the state for their support so far, urged them to resist the opposition, which, according to him, is out to deceive Nigerians.

“The landgrabbers are out to deceive Nigerians again, but we have come to tell you that collectively, we should tell them a resounding no. There is no vacancy in Aso Rock Villa; Aso Rock is for President Tinubu,” he stated.
He said increased allocation from the federation account has enabled states to deliver infrastructure such as roads, houses, water and electricity.

“He (Tinubu) has done a lot, and we must give him more time to do more so that we can continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy. Mobilise from door-to-door, street-to-street, area-to-area, farm-to-farm, settlement-to-settlement and vote APC from top to bottom,” he added.
In his remarks, Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, who doubles as Deputy Director General of the APC Campaign Council, commended the PBAT Movement for complementing the party’s efforts.

Mr Buni, represented by his deputy, Idi Barde Gubana, said Yobe is 100 per cent behind President Tinubu, adding that there is no need for serious campaigning for the APC in the state.
He assured the movement of victory, saying the state has restructured its campaign machinery from state to ward level ahead of the polls.
