The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) on Friday said there is no prescribed dress code for applicants participating in the medical screening exercise for the 2025 Recruitment Exercise into the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCOS), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service (FFS) and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
CDCFIB, in a statement signed and issued by its Head of Press, Okeh Juliet, said the medical screening exercise is scheduled to commence on 22nd June.
“Applicants are advised to appear for the exercise in their normal and decent attire. They are also advised not to come with their credentials, as no document verification will be conducted during the medical screening exercise,” Mrs Okeh said.
She said any information directing candidates to wear a particular dress code or bring their credentials should be disregarded, as such directives did not emanate from the board.
The board urged all applicants to adhere strictly to official information released through its authorised channels and wishes all candidates a successful screening exercise.
Last Saturday, CDCFIB announced the next phase of its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise. The board said the next stage will involve physical screening and document verification for shortlisted applicants.
The board said applicants who took part in the online Computer-Based Test (CBT) held in November 2025 are to access its official recruitment portal at https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng from Monday, 15th to Friday, 20th June 2026, to verify their status.
It said that applicants are required to log in using the application number generated at the time of initial registration, adding that the recruitment process is completely free.
