The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the next phase of its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise.

In a statement signed by the Secretary to the Board, Maj Gen AM Jibril Rtd, and released on Saturday, CDCFIB said the next stage will involve physical screening and document verification for shortlisted applicants.

“Accordingly, applicants who took part in the online Computer-Based Test (CBT) held in November 2025 are to access the Board’s official recruitment portal at https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng from Monday, 15th to Friday, 20th June 2026, to verify their status,” the statement said.

Mr Jibril said applicants are required to log in using the application number generated at the time of initial registration.

“If shortlisted, applicants will be required to upload their credentials and select a date and venue of their choice for physical screening. Applicants are advised to carefully follow all instructions outlined on the portal,” he said.

The board emphasised that the recruitment process is completely free.

Hence, Mr Jibril said no fee should be paid by applicants to any individual, agent, group or organisation claiming to render assistance with shortlisting, venue allocation, document upload, access to screening venue, or final selection.

“The general public is advised to ignore fake recruitment messages, fraudulent links, and unauthorised persons claiming to represent the board. Kindly note that all official updates shall be communicated through the CDCFIB recruitment portal as well as approved official communication channels.

“The board remains committed to ensuring that the exercise is conducted in the most transparent, credible, merit-based and in consonance with extant rules guiding recruitment processes,” he said.
