The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) says the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) original result slip will be available for printing as from Wednesday, 17 June.

JAMB spokesperson Fabian Benjamin, in a statement posted on the Board’s official X handle on Wednesday, said the original result slip contains the candidate’s photograph, national ranking, and other security features.

It noted that it is part of the official document required for post-UTME processing and consideration by tertiary institutions.

“Dear Candidates and Stakeholders, The 2026 UTME original result slip will be available for printing within the next two hours today, Wednesday, 17th June,2026,” the statement said.

Mr Benjamin said candidates can conveniently print their original result slip from any internet-enabled device, whether at home, in the office, or at accredited business centres.

“Candidates are advised to verify all details on the slip immediately after printing and keep a copy for future admission-related purposes,” he said.

The release of the result slips is expected to facilitate post-UTME registration and other admission processes for candidates seeking placement into tertiary institutions for the 2026/2027 academic session.

In May, JAMB and tertiary education stakeholders approved the minimum UTME scores for 2026 admissions into Nigerian universities, polytechnics, and colleges of nursing.

During this year’s annual policy meeting on admissions into tertiary institutions held in Abuja on Monday, the participants adopted 150 as the benchmark for admission into universities and 100 for polytechnics and colleges of education.

The meeting adopted 150 for Colleges of Nursing across the country.

The Minister of Education, Tunji Alausa, at the time, announced that from this year, applicants to Colleges of Education no longer need UTME for admission.
